Meet Our Team
Scott Kinder is from Sumter, SC and joined CRW Insurance in 2008 as Benefits Coordinator assisting in Life and Health coverage for groups and individuals. Scott purchased the agency in 2016 with Robbie Nalley and serves in various roles promoting CRW Insurance.
Scott is married to Cristi Kinder and they have 3 children and 10 grandchildren. He loves the outdoors and enjoys hunting and spending time on the water. He is a member of Christ Community Church where he serves as an usher and on the welcome team. Scott is member of the Progressive Club and the Palmetto Rotary Club of Sumter.
Robbie Nalley grew up in Clarendon County attending school in Manning, SC and church in Sumter, SC. After graduating The Citadel in 1991 Robbie spent 9 years as a teacher, coach and athletic director. In 2000 he began working as a producer at CRW Insurance and in 2016 became a co-owner of the business. Robbie is active in the IIABSC and currently serves as the secretary for its Board of Directors. Robbie is married with 2 girls and attends Christ Community Church. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Donna Jo Smith
Donna Jo Smith joined CRW Insurance in April 2018 as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. She is the commercial lines department manager and has over 20 years of experience in property casualty insurance. She obtained her CISR designation in 1997 and her CIC designation in 2011. She is responsible for servicing Commercial property and casualty clients to ensure they obtain individualized service that meets their coverage with competitive rates.
Donna Jo has one son Timothy and enjoys shopping, reading & spending time with family & friends.
April Preator made Sumter, SC her home in 2004, relocating from Tyler, TX. She has performed many roles in the Insurance Industry in both Personal and Commercial Lines. She is now a Commercial Lines Account Manager and has been with CRW since 2018. Her favorite things about the organization are the personal relationships they develop with clients and the family atmosphere in the workplace.
In her free time, April enjoys being with her husband and children and spending time with her family. She loves the ocean, photography, visiting new places and leaving kindness along the way.

Anna Osteen was born and raised in Manning, SC. She attended Laurence Manning Academy and furthered her education at Clemson University, where she earned her Bachelors’ degree in English. After graduating, Anna found a niche for helping people through the insurance industry. She enjoys working closely with others to ensure a better quality of life.
When she is not working, Anna enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Hunter, and their two dogs. On the weekends, you can find her playing tennis, hanging out with friends and family, hunting, and boating any chance she gets.
Mary Michael Walker
Mary Michael Walker was born and raised in Manning, SC where she attended Laurence Manning Academy. After attending Central Carolina Technical College, she started working at SAFE and then the Bank of Clarendon. Mary joined CRW in October 2021. She now lives in Sumter with her husband and two dogs. Mary is a member of the Manning United Methodist Church. When she's not working, you can find her spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer Rogers was raised in Rembert, SC and spent a lot of her childhood years in Camden, SC. She has called Sumter home for over 10 years. She met her husband in Sumter and they have four fur-babies.
Jennifer has a background in Medical Billing and Coding that she received from Central Carolina Technical College. She was in that field for 10 years in a Long-Term Care setting. She joined the CRW team in 2019 as the receptionist and is now a Commercial Account Manager. She enjoys the challenges and learning experiences in insurance. She strives to keep learning new information that will help her be a better agent. Her favorite thing about CRW Insurance is the family-like atmosphere.
When Jennifer is not working, she enjoys spending her summers at Lake Marion or Lake Wateree. She looks forward to football season and goes to as many Gamecock games as she can. She loves spending time with her family and friends. Jennifer has a huge heart for animals and tries to find homes or rescue as many as she can.

Brandi Sloan joined the CRW Team in December 2020. She brings over 22 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance. She earned her Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designation in 2004.
She was born and raised in Sumter, SC but found her home in Lee County where she enjoys the "country life" with her husband Steve and their dogs. She likes working outdoors and tending to her organic garden. Brandi was blessed with musical talent and loves to play the violin (and most recently the accordion) for others. She has been a member of The Woman's Afternoon Music Club since 2016 and serves as their Treasurer.
One of her favorite Bible verses is "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up..." 1 Thes 5:11
Sandi White has lived in Sumter since 1971 when her stepfather was stationed at Shaw Air Force Base. Born in the Smokie Mountains of Tennessee, she then moved to the Chicago area. Sandi joined the VFW Auxiliary and after serving in various offices of the local post she served as the Department President from 1991-1992. With that, she has visited all over the state of SC and many other interesting places in our great country.
Sandi began working for CRW in 2009 as the Commercial Lines Processor and handles purchasing for the agency. She enjoys baking and sharing with other folks.
New Business Team
Stacy Spurling, was born and raised in Sumter, SC. She and husband Chad married in 1997 and have two sons Michael and Alex. Stacy often says her home life is like a zoo, as she has two dogs and one cat that she loves dearly. Stacy joined the CRW team in October 2018 with over 20 years of insurance experience. She speaks fluent Spanish and loves helping others.
Stacy currently serves as the Senior Account Manager on the New Business Team. She is part of the Helping Hands Committee where she serves the role of putting together work and community actions, giving back to Sumter County and surrounding areas. Away from work, Stacy enjoys the beach, shopping, and Mexican food. Stacy attends Newspring Church in Florence SC where she serves on their greeting team.

Jamie Phegley joined the CRW team in June of 2020. She serves as a Senior Account Manager in our personal lines department. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Insurance & Risk Management from Indiana State University and has over 20 years of insurance industry experience.
In her spare time, you can find Jamie cruising the open seas with her husband or just relaxing at home with her basset hound, Josie. She also enjoys spending time with her four adult children and her precious grandson, Killian. Jamie attends MCC church where she serves on the greeting team and is a member of Tri Kappa.
Amy was born in Charleston, SC and raised at The Isle of Palms where she graduated from Wando High School in 1992 and then The College of Charleston in 1996. She has been in the insurance industry since 1997 and currently holds her P & C and Life & Health licenses. Amy is the proud mother of Grace, Carol Ann, and Rob.
Amy is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and serves as an Elder at The Presbyterian Church at Manning. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to The Citadel football games, spending time on the water and attending her children’s football, travel softball and baseball games.
Devin Rice joined Creech Roddey Watson’s service department in March 2022. Prior to joining this wonderful team, he worked as an account manager for the nation’s largest auto insurance company. He entered the insurance industry to explore his passion for helping people. Devin is driven by the satisfaction that comes from helping clients protect their most valued possessions from life’s unexpected events.
Devin lives in Sumter and when he’s not keeping busy with work, you can find him enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with family and friends.
Ruth Hickman moved to Sumter in 1973 making this her permanent home. As a military dependent, she enjoyed traveling but now calls Sumter home after her father retired here. She graduated from Sumter High School and married shortly after graduation when she started raising her family. She joined CRW in 2006 and serves as a Personal Lines Processor. While away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Ruth also enjoys her downtime when she cooks and relaxes on weekends.

New Business Team
Hayley was born and raised in Sumter, SC. She joined our team as Receptionist in October 2020 and has worked in customer service since 2013. Her favorite thing about our business is the teamwork the members of the company show, the commitment to quality service, and working in an office so close to her home.
While away from work, Hayley enjoys spending time with her family and her son, Rowan. On the weekends, you can find her shopping, taking trips to the beach, or curling up at home with a good book.

Ansley Ridgill was born and raised in Manning, South Carolina. She studied at the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2020 when she started her insurance career as the Receptionist of CRW. Ansley current works on the Retention Team with our Personal Lines.
Her free time is spent with family and friends or with her dogs, who she considers her children. While not in the office, you can find her at any South Carolina sporting event or at the lake.
Born and raised in Sumter, South Carolina, Madeline has deep roots in all aspects of her life. She studied at the University of South Carolina and joined our team in February of 2021. She holds a Property and Casualty Producer’s license and is on our Service Team to handle anything you can throw at her.
Madeline’s free time comes rarely, but she would not change a thing about her time away from work. Her extended family is HUGE and she enjoys spending time with them every chance she gets, which is all of the time since most of them live throughout SC as well. When there is not a family event going on, Madeline enjoys hanging with her new fiancé, Seth, going out with her friends, and spending summer days on the water at Lake Marion. While it may seem like Madeline is always on the go, she does need her quiet time. Her ideal way to relax is sitting outside with a nice breeze and a good book.
A bit of scripture that keeps Madeline grounded is from the Gospel of Luke. It reads “Whoever listens to you listens to Me, whoever rejects you rejects Me, and whoever rejects Me rejects God who has sent Me.” Luke 10:16
Life and Health
Amber Baker, originally from the small town of Cassatt, SC, currently resides in Rembert, Sumter County. She joined our team in June 2020 and is a Benefit’s Coordinator in the Life and Health Department. When asked what her favorite things about our office were, Amber insisted that it is our family-focused values, the friendliness of her coworkers, and the willingness shown to go the extra mile for their clients.
In her spare time, Amber takes advantage of spending it with her husband and three children. They enjoy fulfilling activities in their family’s adventure book, cooking/ baking, having movie nights and enjoying the outdoors.
Brittany Tindal is originally from Sumter, South Carolina where she attended Wilson Hall and went on to graduate from Clemson University. She began her career in insurance over 15 years ago and has worked in personal, life, and commercial departments. Brittany currently is a full time Producer for our office. You can find Brittany boating with her family or horseback riding in her down time.
Robbie Briggs III
Robbie was born in Rock Hill, SC and later moved to Manning where he graduated from Manning High School in 1989. Robbie lettered four years in football at The Citadel from 1989-1992. After graduating in 1993, he stayed on as a GA football coach and in 1995 received a master’s degree in education. He married Amy Matthews that same year in Charleston.
Robbie spent 24 years at Manning High and Laurence Manning Academy as a Teacher, Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. In 2016 he started in the insurance industry and currently holds his P & C license where he specializes in commercial transportation.
Robbie is a member of The Presbyterian Church at Manning and is currently the President of The Citadel Football Association. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, playing golf, going to The Citadel football games, spending time on the water and attending his children’s football, travel softball and baseball games.
Terry Richburg is a native of Manning, South Carolina where he has owned his own business in 1985. He decided to diversify, getting into the insurance business in 2003 and currently holds both his P&C and Life Insurance licenses, and serves as a Producer for our agency. Terry enjoys any time off at his home on the lake with wife Becky, and their four children: Emily, Jacob, Abby, and Anna.
Andy Kennedy was born and raised in Manning, South Carolina. He attended Laurence Manning Academy and the University of South Carolina where he majored in Hospitality Management. Andy spent three years at Tazza Kitchen in Columbia serving as the General Manager. After ten years in the restaurant industry, he decided to make a career change to insurance where he took a job with State Farm in Columbia specializing in Personal Lines & Financial Services.
Andy currently holds P&C and L&H licenses and serves as a Producer for our agency. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, fishing, hunting, golfing, watching the Gamecocks, and spending time with friends & family. He appreciates everything he learned in his eight years in Columbia but is happy to be home in the community where he was raised.
Administrative & Accounting
Kelly Wenzel, born and raised in Passaic NJ, attended college in Wilson, NC where she studied business administration. Kelly received her P&C Insurance license in 2010 while living in Colorado and since then, has been growing within the industry. She is a member of the Young Professionals of Sumter and the Young Agents of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of SC.
Kelly has two children that she loves dearly that keeps her on her toes. They attend Christ Community Church in Sumter. In her free time, she likes to cook and give back to the community. Kelly is a very strong and positive influence for our clients and employees.
Kay Jowers is a proud lifelong South Carolina resident and has been in the insurance industry since 1988. She has worked for two different insurance agencies, which has built her very strong personal lines experience, and currently serves as our Administrative Assistant. Kay enjoys free time at her home by the water and with her two granddaughters.
Madison Gregory grew up in Manning, SC. She graduated from Laurence Manning Academy and continued her education in English at Horry-Georgetown Technical College. She has over 10 years in the customer service industry. She has enjoyed working in roles that are centered around bettering the community around her. Her passion comes from helping others.
In her free time, Madison enjoys watching movies with her husband and four pets, painting, and exercising. One of their favorite weekend activities is hiking at Poinsett with their dogs, followed by coffee and breakfast. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Manning, SC.
Yoli Crolley joined our team in September 2021 after retiring with 29 years at the Regional Council of Governments. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina in Office Administration and is a die-hard Gamecock.
Yoli and her husband Greg moved to Sumter in 1989 and have a daughter and granddaughter in Florence as well as a son and daughter-in-law in Columbia. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach, sporting events, and being with family and friends. She is a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sumter, and her favorite scripture comes from Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.
Tim Stolley grew up in the mountains of western Colorado. A graduate of Colorado State University in 2000, he’s been working in the accounting field for the last 24 years including 16 years as a CPA.
Tim relocated to South Carolina in 2021. He has a son and daughter (Ash and Willow) who are attending college studying in North Carolina and Georgia. In his spare time, Tim works as an umpire and enjoys golfing, fishing, and biking.
